Sweeteners
A pack that prints E960a is the stevia leaf extract already cited under E960. Enzymatic (E960c) and glucosylated (E960d) routes are listed separately on purpose. Monk fruit and allulose are not E960.
How to read a sweetener line
- Match the subtype. E960a is not E960c. Muttoo will not pretend they are.
- US-only names. Monk fruit and allulose have no EU E-number here. They are searchable, not verified.
- Carriers still count. A “stevia” blend may still carry ethanol or glycerol.
