The short version: the public catalogue is free. Money, when it exists, comes from a B2B screen and API. Classifications are not for sale. Display ads are not running.

What pays for this, later

A bulk ingredient check (CSV in, cited rows out) and a read-only API of the same public file. Join the brands waitlist. Until that ships, JSON and CSV stay free on open data.

What we will never sell

• A verified-halal or verified-haram label on an ingredient.
• A product certification. We are not IFANCA, JAKIM, HMC or HFA.
• A barcode that pretends to audit a factory.

Advertising

Display advertising is off. If it ever runs, these categories stay blocked: gambling and betting, alcohol, dating, interest-based financial products, and adult content. A slipped ad can be reported and will be blocked by domain.

Analytics

Anonymous page views go to Google Analytics (property G-LKSGDBRX46) so we can see which ingredients people actually look up. Ad personalisation signals are off. We do not sell that data.

Referral links

Some links to halal-certified products may later be referral links. They will be marked, they will never change a classification, and a product cannot pay to be called halal here.
